LEAN – FLEXIBLY SOLVING BOTTLENECKS
Lean is: creating more value for customers with fewer resources. If something can be improved today, do not wait until tomorrow. Do not wait until the next project, after carefully evaluating the current project. Lean provides the tools that are required for continuous improvement, without overly burdening the organisation. Lean tools help with flexibly solving bottlenecks – such as those becoming apparent from a process mining analyses.
Imagine that our environment and we ourselves never change. In that world we can only design the perfect process once and no further adjustments are required. Reality is different. The environment, customers and we ourselves change continuously. Many organisations struggle with changing their processes to continuously match the everchanging world. Because of this, structural problems ‘grow’ in our systems and processes. Lean is the method to keep up with the constant change.
